Verifiable Credentials

Strengthening digital governance by creating secure, unified, and interoperable system for citizens’ identity management.

Brazil is strengthening its Digital Governance initiatives and is in the process of digitizing the government services. One of the key components of the initiative is to develop the DPI for Credentialing, that is, a unified and interoperable system for securely issuing, managing, and verifying digital credentials, such as IDs, licences, and other government documents. The DPI aims to streamline processes, enhance security, and improve accessibility of digital credentials so that Brazilians would be able to access and verify their credentials across various digital platforms in an easy, secured, and seamless manner.

Teacher Upskilling

Moroccan educators are leveraging DPG to receive upskilling training, ensuring Moroccan children benefit from quality preschool education.

The Morocco Foundation for Pre-school education, FMPS, is on a mission to ensure that every Moroccan child benefits from quality pre-school education by 2030. Crucial to this mission is the continuous upskilling of the educators and educator recruits so that they can have a better impact on the students. Using DPGs, FMPS can create a cost-effective and efficient system that enables large cohorts of educators and educator recruits to be trained regularly, while also being capable of handling content and programs that are customised to the needs of different levels of trainees. The system would also enable FMPS to collate data across multiple efforts in a seamless fashion in order to enable unified visibility, thus allowing simplification of administrative processes and management as well. The initiative is expected to result in a much more robust and reliable system for managing all the FMPS initiatives and would cover a variety of use-cases including access in low connectivity areas or offline usage.

Employing DPG led solutions for education is one of the core reasons that FMPS is rapidly emerging as the thought leader in pre-school education not only in Morocco but also in the entire African continent. This is especially true because the DPG solution envisaged by FMPS has the potential to evolve into a DPI for the entire education system of Morocco.

Unlocking Digital Education

Unlocking digital medium to enable access to school education for inclusive reach, fast-paced interventions, and impact on a national scale.

The Department of Education (DoE) of Papua New Guinea is aiming to develop a National Digital Infrastructure for education in the country that would drive the education initiative in the country through the digital medium. This Digital infrastructure is envisaged to give access to school education up to standard 12 to every teacher and 2.6 million children in the country, inspired by DIKSHA, a Govt. of India initiative. The Digital infrastructure will not only help Papua New Guinea’s DoE in teacher's capacity building but also in expediting and multiplying the reach of education interventions to improve the proficiency of teachers and students in various subjects.

The Digital infrastructure for education is envisioned by the DoE, Papua New Guinea.

The proposed Education Digital infrastructure to complement multiple education initiatives by DoE, Papua New Guinea, in the area of Early Childhood Education, Teacher’s capacity building and Education Pathways for education beyond traditional routes to name a few. This will also encourage the civil society and private parties to participate in the education ecosystem on a need basis.
